Probably a Czech tourist mutilated a turtle and its shell in Coraya Bay, near the popular resort of Marsa Alam. He used a knife to carve the signature “Láďa” into its shell. The turtle is now at risk of infection and potentially death, zoologists warn. The information came from an influencer who goes by the nickname Czech in Egypt.
