Czechs are 22nd in the world in mathematics, according to an international comparison. Estonians are the leaders.
Czech pupils have improved in reading, maths and science since 2015. This was revealed by the PISA testing, the results of which were presented by representatives of the Czech Education Ministry and the Czech School Inspectorate at a press conference on Tuesday. In international comparison, the Czechs were average to slightly above average, but the worst performers were in reading literacy. They ranked 25th in the reading test, 22nd in mathematics and 21st out of 79 in science literacy.

PISA 2022: Slovak pupils drop significantly, Drucker speaks openly about a national tragedy
The Minister stressed that education no longer has a monopoly on education as information reaches children mainly from the online space. According to the OECD PISA 2022 survey, the literacy rate of Slovak pupils has deteriorated. This was announced by the Ministry of Education at today’s press conference. The mentioned survey focused on monitoring the literacy of 15-year-old pupils in three different areas of education.
