Czechs are even more after discounts. Some items are no longer on sale
Tight family budgets are leading Czechs to shop more often for discounted goods. Already sixty percent of the volume is sold on sale. The Czech discount shopping phenomenon has reached another milestone. This year, for the first time, the value of goods purchased at discounts has surpassed the 60 per cent mark, according to NielsenIQ data. Year-on-year, the share of promotions rose by one percentage point.
