Germany wants a two-speed Europe. It has already approached selected countries, and the Czechia is not among them
Now is the time for a two-speed Europe, Klingbeil said on Tuesday, according to Reuters, at an event hosted by the daily Die Welt in Berlin. Germany is advocating a two-speed European Union in order to improve decision-making processes and revive the EU economy. It is planning to create a new format in the form of a bloc of six leading economies. These would cooperate, for example, on capital markets, defence investment and securing key raw materials.
