Commandos injured the flautist, supposedly to protect him
The flautist of the Czech band Votchi (pictured), whose lip was smashed by the peepers during Saturday’s intervention in the Nitra club Naozzay, faces a fine of up to 2 000 crowns for disobeying the police summons. This was announced by the regional police director Ján Štark. According to him, the musician did not stop playing despite several loud warnings that it was a police action. Therefore, according to Stark, one of the peepers pushed his flute away so that his lips were torn. They then offered to take him in for an examination, but he refused. They took him to the police department for questioning. “Personally, I am convinced that the action was in accordance with the applicable legal norms and no law was violated,” declared Stark.
