The ministry concluded a framework contract for 700 million with a smaller Strnad company, which is not considered part of Tatra by minority shareholders. Under the framework agreement, Slovakia can buy up to 1,307 Tatra vehicles for a total of 700 million euros. The Fico government has granted the contract the status of a strategic investment.
