After Friday’s massive power outage that affected large areas of the Czech Republic, voices are growing demanding compensation for the damage caused. These are said to amount to tens of millions of crowns in some sectors. While business organisations are calling on the government to quickly help, some politicians are warning against the spread of the so-called entitlement mentality and further financial burden on the state.
