Details of the new benefit: 20 hours of work a month and up to 100,000 in bills required
Merging the four current state benefits into one will bring simplification for people claiming the money. But it may also come up against pitfalls. For example, a means test is planned. School and work attendance will also be taken into account. With the new unified benefit will come new conditions that claimants must meet. A healthy adult of working age should only qualify for state assistance if they have no more than 100,000 crowns in their bank account, one car, one holiday home and do at least 20 hours of community service a month.
