In the Czech Republic, over 200 municipalities suffer from the extreme burden of social exclusion. Getting out of the affected localities is very difficult for people, sometimes almost impossible. They have no other options for finding housing, they are often extremely indebted, and their children cannot even imagine how to live any other way. “Cutting benefits will not solve this,” says Martin Šimáček, director of the Agency for Social Inclusion, in an interview with Deník.
