“Even if it was for a few minutes, for me it was a humiliation for many years,” says Hanka, a law student. At 15, her mother brought her to the gynaecologist to find out if her daughter was a virgin. On the call of Magdalena Urbánková, the author of the Instagram account Hormoneless, 20 other women came forward with similar experiences. With gynecologist Kamila Žižková, she points out that determining virginity is ethically and physiologically questionable.
