“He looked ridiculous, but he had a weapon.” A journalist recounts meeting a Czech who helped the Russians in Donbas.
He went to Donbas and assisted Russian separatists. He was supposed to learn things from them to later pass on to militia groups in the Czech Republic. Now, this man is charged with participation in a terrorist organization. This exceptional case was uncovered by independent Slovak war journalist Tomáš Forró, author of the book The Song of Sirens, who has been covering the Russian invasion of Ukraine from the front lines for an extended period.
