Unjust poverty. Women need to save more even on food
Women were more likely than men to say they were worse off than a year ago. In particular, people with lower incomes and, in general, women were more likely than men to say they were worse off financially than last year. They point this out in a new survey as part of the How to Live in the Czech Republic series. More than 38 percent of people are worse off financially than a year ago. Another 45 percent say they are about the same. In general, women in particular report a worsening of their financial situation. Over 43 per cent of them say they are in a more difficult situation than last year. Men gave this answer in 33 per cent of cases. Almost a fifth, on the other hand, say they are better off. However, only 11.5 per cent of women mention an improvement.
