Czech influencers with tens of thousands of followers are now promoting illegal casinos. “And it’s an offer that is extremely accessible,” says Jan Řehola, director of the Institute for the Regulation of Gambling. According to a survey among gamblers aged 16 and 17, more than half of them reportedly encounter offers of illegal games on influencers’ social media often or very often.

The value of Czech entrepreneur Michal Strnad’s fortune roughly doubled to $37 billion (over 760 billion Czech crowns) following today’s stock market debut of his arms company, Czechoslovak Group (CSG), Bloomberg reported. According to the agency, the 33-year-old Strnad has thus become the world’s richest arms magnate and the third-richest person in the world under the age of 40.
