The first train in Europe that is not driven by a driver between stations runs on the Kopidlnka line
On Friday, the manufacturer of transport signalling technology AŽD Praha officially launched the operation of an autonomous train on the line Kopidlno – Dolní Bousov on the border of the Hradec Králové and Central Bohemia regions as the first in Europe on the so-called wide line. As the legislation does not allow for completely unmanned operation, the autonomous train also has a driver, who only supervises the journey between stations.
