According to records of the Státní bezpečnost, Oto Klempíř informed on one friend because of letters from the Netherlands, and on another because of marijuana parties. His reports also concerned a girl he now describes as his savior. She was related to a prominent communist official at the time. This text is based on files of the State Security service, which document the people on whom the current Minister of Culture for the Motorists party, Oto Klempíř, allegedly informed before November 1989. Surviving documents indicate, for example, that he passed information to the communist secret police about one friend who had asked him to translate letters from a girl abroad, and about another in connection with marijuana parties that he himself attended.
