The consulate building in New York hosts a controversial event. Czech Republic can’t do anything about it
The Czech National Building in New York City is to host a discussion organized by an extremist organization. Politicians there have called on the Prime Minister to cancel it. However, according to the Foreign Ministry, this is no longer possible. The Czech National Building in New York’s Manhattan has found itself in a precarious situation, having leased part of its premises under a commercial lease to a controversial organisation. For example, its Indiana office has been accused of using a quote from Adolf Hitler in one of its newsletters. But the organization is particularly problematic because of its agenda against student inclusion, including defining itself against sexual minorities.
