SAO: Financial authorities did not respect the Constitutional Court’s ruling on excessive deductions
Despite the two-year-old ruling of the Constitutional Court, the Financial Administration authorities withheld the entire amounts of excessive VAT deductions, including the parts about which they had no doubts and which they did not investigate in any way. The General Financial Directorate (GFD) failed to ensure that tax administrators proceeded with VAT administration focusing on excessive deductions in accordance with the law and the Constitutional Court’s ruling.
