I was sent to psychiatrists, recalls the American who brought health clowns to the Czech Republic
When American Gary Edwards came to the Czech Republic in the 1990s, few people knew that there was such a thing as a health clown. “A lot of people thought it was something strange, out of place,” he recalls of the initial rejection. Eventually, he succeeded, and today he has almost a hundred followers. They cheer up children in hospitals and the elderly. “I’m very pleased with how the organization is going,” Edwards praises.
