A double murder for a messy apartment gets a life sentence
The Municipal Court in Prague has handed down a life sentence to 25-year-old Zbyněk Prokop for the murder of a young couple in the Krč district of the city. According to the verdict, the man committed the brutal act because of the disorder in his apartment, and expert opinion finds him difficult to fit back into society. The verdict is not final and can still be appealed to the High Court. Twenty-five-year-old Prokop confessed to the murders; he said the conflict with his roommates was provoked by an argument over cleaning.
