In an unusually harsh statement, the cabinet of Petro Fiala publicly accused the Chinese government of a cyberattack on the Foreign Ministry. According to Seznam Zprav’s findings, the target was email accounts that hackers had access to for up to two years. Emails from Czech Foreign Ministry staff had another still-secret recipient as of 2022, according to Seznam Zprav sources. They were agents of Communist China.
