For seals to the neighbors. Dental materials (fillings) are tens of percent more expensive in the Czechia than in Germany
Czech dentists point out that their patients are paying higher prices for dental materials than in neighbouring countries. While a packet of cement for fixing dental crowns can be bought in the Czech Republic for between CZK 3,900 and CZK 5,945, in Germany it costs CZK 2,500. This is not the only case. According to dentists, dental materials such as fillings and dental restorations are generally significantly more expensive in the Czech Republic than in its neighbours. The price differences are in the tens of percentages, and in some cases Czech patients reportedly pay up to 100 percent more than those in Germany. Dentists are therefore now pressing the state to change the current rules that make the material supplied more expensive.
