The price of helicopters is disadvantageous for the Czech Republic
For the Czech Republic, the purchase of helicopters will become more expensive. By 2008, the Czech Republic is to pay just under one and a half billion crowns for the delivery of eight Eurocopter helicopters for the needs of the Ministry of the Interior. According to today’s Lidové noviny, it has emerged that the state made a highly unfavourable deal in 2002. The helicopters will cost about a quarter of a billion more than private individuals pay for the same machines.
