Dead animals were found in the Příbram region. They were probably poisoned by a banned poison, police believe
Criminal investigators are dealing with a case of dead animals found last week in Klučenice in the Příbram region. They believe the sea eagle, fox and buzzard may have been poisoned. Police suspect that someone killed them with the highly dangerous poison carbofuran, Central Bohemian police spokesman Pavel Truxa said on the website. The case was reported last Wednesday. The dead animals were lying in a meadow in the Planá district not far from each other. Officers from the economic crime unit will investigate what substance the animals were poisoned with and who might have planted the bait at the site or in its vicinity.
