One hundred and fifty-two million crowns. This is the amount of compensation that B11 wants from Seznam.cz for pointing out the deceptive practices of BubbleStar CZ, which sold Bubble Tea. Reporter Jan Tuna pointed out in several reports of the programme A dost!, broadcast in 2016 on the Stream platform, that although the company claimed that its drinks were natural and free of artificial colours and sugar, tests in accredited laboratories proved the opposite – the concentration of artificial colours in them was very high. The drinks are therefore not suitable for children, even though they were the target of the company’s campaign.
