The army ordered billions of rifles. Some failed after 30 shots, soldiers say
The Czech army has a problem in rearmament with small arms. According to sources in the security community, the Bren 2 PPS precision-firing rifles, which are part of a nearly three-billion-dollar contract, are failing. Editorial sources say the problems are much more serious than the defence ministry admits. The manufacturer does not deny the problems, but says the weapon has passed all tests.
