Galactic-level theft in Bratislava? The city is somehow paying tens of thousands of euros per garbage collector!
The city-owned company OLO signed a contract that allegedly includes massive overpayments and nonsensical expenses. The information comes from findings presented by Martin Winkler, a city councilor and candidate for mayor of the capital. According to him, Bratislava is paying up to €50,000 for a single foreign garbage collector. He discussed this alleged scandal at a press conference, where he highlighted what he sees as disproportionate costs and inefficient use of the citizens’ money.
