Sewage from the Aš region flows into nature and runs into Germany. A disgrace, acknowledges the mayor
Alarming results came from a more than year-long hydrogeological survey conducted in the Aš region by the company Vodní zdroje Praha. Experts found that most of the wastewater from the villages of Kopaniny and Doubrava ends up in nature without any treatment. Some of it flows directly into the Bílý Halštrov stream and from there into Germany. The results of the survey shocked the local authorities. ‘It’s a disgrace that in the 21st century there is no sewage system here and our wastewater flows across the border to our neighbors.
