Czech participant in Afghanistan mission lost her NATO clearance, crashed her car while drunk
An army doctor with experience in foreign military missions has lost the trust of the state in the security sector. She no longer has the right to be privy to sensitive information concerning the state’s strategic interests. She has definitively lost her second highest security clearance. Even NATO no longer trusts her. The reason is that she caused a traffic accident while under the influence of alcohol. Dr. Eva V. is a professional soldier and a radiologist in the medical field. As an army doctor, she was on several missions in Afghanistan, where North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies, including the Czech Republic, fought against the Islamist terrorist movement Taliban. On that mission, the doctor participated in a unique procedure.
