Active Reserves practiced defending a substation from angry demonstrators
Barricades in front of the entrance to the substation, guard posts built out of sacks around the entire area, and dozens of armed people in military uniforms everywhere. This is how it has looked since the beginning of the week at the substation next to the busy road connecting Plzeň and Chrást. Friday’s defence of the substation against angry demonstrators was the culmination of a major exercise by the military active reserves in the Pilsen region.
