Slovaks trust mainly Slovak food, they have a problem with food of Polish origin
This results from a survey carried out by the 2muse agency for the Association of Trade (ZO) SR on a representative sample of 1000 respondents. For Slovak consumers, freshness, quality and price are currently the main factors when buying food. The majority of consumers prefer Slovak food origin, associating it with quality, freshness and support for the domestic economy. They also trust food from the Czech Republic and Germany, but have a strong distrust of food from Poland.
