A butcher in the Liberec region bought sick pigs just before they died. He sold the meat to restaurants
Thousands of kilograms of meat from sick pigs ended up on the plates of diners in restaurants, especially in the Liberec region. They were delivered there by a butcher who purposely bought sick or even dying pigs. The courts were able to prove the trafficking of more than 100 pigs. As the boss of the whole gang, the butcher got off with probation. The Constitutional Court rejected the complaint against her.
